On February 13, 2023, a Final Order was issued to resolve TSCA RRP violations with US Group, Inc (US Group) in Centennial, CO. The Final Order was issued in response to violations
observed during a March 2021 inspection and subsequently reported in responses to Information Request Letters. The jobsite was a home in Commerce City - North Denver, an area
with significant potential for Environmental Justice concerns including lead exposure. US Group failed to obtain firm certification from the EPA prior to performing renovations on
target housing, failed to assign a certified renovator to the project, and failed to maintain records to demonstrate compliance with the RRP Rule. US Group agreed to a $2,450
penalty and has obtained firm and renovator certifications.
