OnMarch 20, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of a misbranded pesticide Makhteshim Agan of North America through the port of Washington-Dulles. It is a violation of FIFRA to sell or
distribute misbranded pesticides. The importer has the option to export or destroy the violativeproduct, and must provide to EPA documentation of the action. The Virginia Department of Agriculture was copied on the NORA, and FIFRA registration violations are exempt from EJ screen.
