The Respondent, a subsidiary of W. R. Grace & Co., will conduct a time-critical removal action under CERCLA at the Ochoa Fertilizer Co. Superfund Site, which was listed on the NPL in September 2022. The Order, valued at about $10 million, will involve abatement of PCB-contaminated soil at 19 residential and commercial properties identified by EPA, investigation and abatement of any additional contaminated properties, and the evaluation and abatement of any runoff from the Respondent's property, which was the location of fertilizer manufacturing operations by related companies.
