On February 7, 2023, EPA requested the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Refuse Admission of an import shipment of a misbranded pesticide. EPA a determined that the quantity of AIM EC Herbicide was misbranded, as the product label failed to contain the correct EPA Registration Number. The distribution or sale of a misbranded pesticide, including the importation of such pesticide, is an unlawful act under Section 12(a)(1)(E) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136j(a)(1)(E).
