On 2/23/23, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 6, issued a Formal Notice of Warning under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to Airshield Systems LLC of Austin, TX. The EPA alleges that Airshield Systems violated Section 12(a)(2)(L) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(2)(L), by failing to submit pesticide production reports for the 2019, 2020, and 2021 calendar years by the respective due dates. Repeat violations could subject Airshield Systems to a civil administrative penalty, or other actions.
