On March 29, 2023, the Region filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement which settled EPA's penalty claim for violations of CWA Section 311(j) at the Meenan Oil Company located in Tullytown, Pennsylvania. EPA conducted an inspection of the facility on September 29, 2021 and discovered violations pertaining to the SPCC Plan, visual inspections, integrity testing and permeability of secondary containment systems. The respondent has agreed to pay a cash penalty of $5,900 to settle the matter.
