On 2/23/23, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 6, issued a Formal Notice of Warning under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to Splash Pools & Spas of Lawton, OK. The EPA alleges that Splash Pools & Spas violated Section 12(a)(2)(L) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(2)(L), by failing to submit pesticide production reports for the 2020 and 2021 calendar years by the applicable due dates. Repeat violations could subject Splash Pools & Spas to a civil administrative penalty, or other actions.
