On 2/24/23, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 6, issued a Formal Notice of Warning under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to Technical Chemical Company of Cleburne, TX. The EPA alleges that Technical Chemical Co. violated Section 12(a)(2)(L) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(2)(L), by failing to submit pesticide production reports for the 2020 and 2021 calendar years by the applicable due dates. Repeat violations could subject Technical Chemical Co. to a civil administrative penalty, or other actions.
