On May 8, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of a misbranded pesticide device imported by Labquip DIagnostics through the Philadelphia International Airport in PA. It is a violation of FIFRA to sell or distribute misbranded pesticide devices. The importer will export the product out of the country and provide documentation to Region 3. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture was copied on the NORA, and FIFRA misbranding violations are exempt from EJ screen.
