On 5/22/23, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 6, issued a Formal Notice of Warning under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to R-Water LLC of San Marcos, TX. The EPA alleges that R-Water violated Section 12(a)(1)(A) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(1)(A), by selling an unregistered pesticide. Repeat violations could subject R-Water to a civil administrative penalty, or other actions.
