On June 30, 2023, EPA Region 10 issued a consent agreement and final order to Farwest Operating LLC d/b/a Moxee Manufacturing and Assembly ( Farwest ), resolving two violations of EPCRA Section 313 occurring in Moxee, Washington. EPA alleged that Farwest violated EPCRA by failing to file a Form R reports to the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) for chromium and manganese processed by the facility in 2018. Farwest has submitted its Form R reports to the TRI and agreed to pay a penalty of $45,147.
