On 7/5/23, EPA Region 6 issued an Expedited Settlement Agreement and Final Order (ESAFO) to Independence Oilfield Chemicals LLC (Respondent) for alleged violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The EPA alleges that Respondent failed to timely submit annual pesticide production reports on or before 3/1/23 for three of its establishments in Texas, and for one establishment in North Dakota.
Respondent has corrected the alleged violations and will pay a civil penalty of $4,000.
