On 7/6/23, EPA Region 6 issued an Expedited Settlement Agreement and Final Order (ESAFO) under its authority pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act to Sun Stone Management, LLC located in Irving, Texas. The ESAFO was issued in response to violations of the Lead Paint Renovation Repair and Painting Rule in 40 C.F.R. section 745, involving the Marisol Villa Apartments in Garland, TX. The ESAFO requires Sun Stone Management, LLC to return to compliance and pay a penalty of $2,000.
