On July 14, 2023, EPA requested U.S. CBP refuse admission of an import shipment. Pursuant to the authority of Section 17(c) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136o(c), and the regulations at 19 C.F.R. 12.114, EPA recommended that the quantity of misbranded Toilet Block and Toilet Cleaner be Refused Admission into the United States. The importer has been advised that it must work with CBP to export or destroy the quantity of misbranded Toilet Block and Toilet Cleaner. The distribution or sale of misbranded pesticides, including the importation of such pesticides, is an unlawful act under Section 12(a)(1)(E) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136j(a)(1)(E).
