EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1414(g) of the Safe Drinking Water Act to David Dodson (Respondent) at the Lake Chicot Water Association public water system in Lake Village, Arkansas. The AO was issued in response to violations of the Public Notice Rule (PN) as set forth in 40 C.F.R. ? 141.201 for failing to provide Public Notice for for exceeding the maximum contaminant level of total trihalomethanes, a disinfection by-product, during the monitoring periods of January-March 2022 and April-June 2022. The AO requires the Respondent to provide public notice for the violations stated within 30 days of receipt of the Order and to submit a copy of all public notices with accompanied signed Certificates of Delivery to EPA and ADH within 10 days of posting.
