Summary

On August 16, 2023, EPA Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving violations of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) by Bornstein Seafoods, Inc. located in Bellingham. Washington. Bornstein Seafoods, Inc. owns and operates a facility in Bellingham, Washington, which failed to timely file the EPCRA 312 annual Tier II chemical inventory reports to the State Emergency Response Commission, the Local Emergency Planning Commission and the fire department with jurisdiction over the facilities.
