On September 20, 2023, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Crown Construction LLC located in Nampa, Idaho, for violation of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. EPA Region 10 alleged Crown Construction LLC failed to become RRP firm certified prior to performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property, as required by the RRP Rule. According to EJ Screen, the target housing being renovated did occur in an area of potential EJ concern for indexes in the State Percentile and National Percentile. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $200.
