On 8/21/23, EPA Region 6 issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order ( SSURO ) under its authority pursuant to Section 13(a) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (?FIFRA?), 7 U.S.C. Section 136k(a), as amended, to El Mercadito Carniceria LLC located in Arlington, TX. The SSURO was issued in response to a violation of: Section 12(a)(1)(A) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(1)(A). The SSURO requires El Mercadito Carniceria LLC to immediately cease the sale, use, or removal of the Product under its ownership, control, or custody, wherever such products are located.
