This enforcement action resolves numerous CAA RMP violations, one EPCRA 304 and one EPCRA 312 violation, and one CERCLA 103 violation at the Suncor Facility. Respondent has agreed to a civil penalty of $60,000 and a spend $240,000 on a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP). The SEP benefits the Commerce City ? North Denver EJ community by providing approximately $240,000 to the South Adams County Fire Department for the purchase of emergency response equipment to mitigate potential damage and reduce potential risks to local communities.
