Violations were identified at the City of Sunland Park Wastewater Treatment Plant during the March 1, 2023 Compliance Evaluation Inspection conducted by EPA Region 6. and by a r3view of the discharge monitoring reports (DMRs) and non compliance reports (NCRs) submitted by CRRUA. The violations alleged are for the Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSOs) and for failure to meet permit effluent limitations and operation maintenance requirements.
