On December 15, 2023, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Burley Glass, LLC located in Burley, Idaho, for violations of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. EPA Region 10 alleged Burley Glass, LLC failed to maintain all RRP records for a period of three years as required after performing a window installation on a pre-1978 residential property, as required by the RRP Rule. According to the EJ Screen, the target housing being renovated did not occur in an area of potential EJ concern for indexes in the State Percentile and National Percentile. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $200.
