On March 25, 2023, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving CWA violations of the 2015 Multi-Sector General Permit by Sunroc Corporation at its Notus facility in Caldwell, Idaho. Alleged violations included insufficient stormwater control measures and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) deficiencies. This enforcement action stands to prevent discharge of nearly five tons of total suspended solids (TSS) into the Boise River. The Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $4,395 and have returned to compliance.
