EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1414(g) of the Safe Drinking Water Act to the City of Arkadelphia (Respondent) at the Arkadelphia Waterworks public water system in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The AO was issued in response to violations of the Section 1433(a) and (b) of the SDWA, 42 U.S.C. ? 300i-2 and 42 U.S.C. ? 300i-2(b) for failing to complete a Risk and Resiliency Assessment (RRA) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP). The AO requires within 30 days of receipt of the Order that the Respondent must certify via EPA's online certification portal that the RRA and ERP requirements have been met, and to provide written confirmation to EPA that all RRA and ERP requirements have been met.
