EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1414(g) of the Safe Drinking Water Act to the Craig Weise (Respondent) at the Grassy Knob Subordinate SD public water system in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The AO was issued in response to violations of the 40 C.F.R. Part 141.201 for failing to provide public notice for failing to submit valid bacteriological samples for the months of June 2020 and May 2021, and for failing to submit a monthly Bacteriological Monitoring and Operations Report for the month of November 2020. The AO requires the Respondent to provide public notices in accordance with 40 C.F.R. Part 141.201 within thirty (30) days and provide a copy of all public notices and signed Certificates of Delivery to EPA and ADH within forty (40) days.
