On 12/21/23, EPA Region 6 issued Consent Agreement and Final Order under its authority pursuant to Section 14 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to Brite Sources USA (Respondent) of Houston, Texas. The CAFO was issued in response to the Respondent's distribution or sale of an unregistered pesticide in violation of Section 12(a)(1)(A) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(1)(A). The CAFO requires the Respondent to pay a civil penalty of $7,300 within 30 days of receiving notice of the effective date of the Final Order.
