EPA contractor, PG Environmental, conducted an R9 Permit Inspection of Washington Township in New Jersey on August 21-22, 2023 (Virtual Audit) and August 29, 2023 (Field Audit). EPA representatives were in attendance for all dates. The inspection found multiple permit violations, including but not limited to, updating SPPP forms, revising the Township's Public Education and Outreach Program to receive the minimum 12 points required by the permit, and developing an inventory of stormwater facilities not owned or operated by the Township, among other things.
