## Summary

NOVEMBER 17, 2023 - ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLIANCE ORDER ON CONSENT

On April 25 to 28, 2022, the EPA's Region 4 Office in Atlanta, GA and the EPA's National Enforcement lnvestigations Center GfEIC) conducted a SDWA compliance inspection of the MLGW public water system.

On or about June 28,2022, the EPA transmitted the inspection report prepared by NEIC to the System.

On September 27 , 2022, the EPA issued a Notice of Noncompliance (Notice) to the Respondent detailing alleged violations at MLGW public water system facilities identified during the inspection.

Between November 4, 2022, through April I 0, 2023, the EPA received information from Respondent addressing the Notice and providing support where instances of noncompliance identified in the Notice have been fully or partially resolved. The allegations
contained in the Notice are detailed more fully below, where such allegations of noncompliance have not been fully resolved as of the Effective Date of this AOC and/or where the EPA believes additional action by MLGW is required.

Based on the findings above, the EPA has determined that the System has violated the SDWA and Tennessee Primary Drinking Water Regulations.
