On 1/8/24, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement & Final Order (CAFO) to Marrs Construction LLC of Bella Vista, AR. The CAFO involves alleged violations of the lead-based paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) rule of the Toxic Substances Control Act. The CAFO requires Marrs Construction LLC to pay a civil penalty of $35,000 thirty days after the date of issue. Marrs will also perform several tasks as conditions of settlement, including public service announcements on the RRP rule, and integration of RRP requirements into episodes of the Fixer to Fabulous television show.
