On November 6, 2023, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Compliance Order on Consent under its authority pursuant to Section 3008(a) of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (?RCRA?) to Lubrication Technologies, Inc. South located Shreveport, Louisiana. The Administrative Compliance Order on Consent was issued in response to violations of: 1) Failure to Comply with Notification Requirements in violation of Section 3010(a) of RCRA, 42 U.S.C. ? 6930(a); and 2) Failure to Operate within its stated Generator Status in violation of LAC 33: V.1109.E, [40 C.F.R. Parts 262 and 270]. The Administrative Compliance Order on Consent requires Lubrication Technologies South to certify that it has assessed all of its solid waste streams to determine the accurate waste codes and has developed and implemented Standard Operating Procedures (?SOP?); certify that it has accurately and adequately complied with its RCRA Section 3010 Notification; and provide, with its certification, a copy of Respondent?s SOPs. Lubrication Technologies must certification completion of the required compliance actions to EPA Region 6 within thirty (30) days of the effective date of the Order.
