On February 29, 2024, EPA Region 10 issued a consent agreement and final order to Clearwater Paper Corporation, resolving violations of EPCRA Section 313 occurring in Lewiston, Idaho. Clearwater Paper failed to properly report one-time chlorine releases as required under EPCRA  313 and the Pollution Prevention Act for calendar years 2019 and 2020.
