On April 24, 2024 EPA Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving violations of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act at the Cellnetix Pathology and Laboratories facility located in Palmer, Alaska. The Facility failed to post the required emergency notification information, label containers of hazardous waste, label and track accumulations dates of hazardous waste, and conduct weekly inspections of central accumulation areas. The Respondent has agreed to pay a penalty of $12,500, conduct needed on-site process changes and improvements, and has returned to compliance.
