On 03/13/2024, EPA Region 10 issued a consent agreement and final order to East Side Plating Inc. (ESP), resolving violations of the Clean Air Act occurring in Portland, OR. EPA alleged that ESP failed to install controls on several nickel plating tanks and failed to keep record and submit reports. ESP has installed the required lids on the plating tanks and agreed to pay a penalty of $139,505.
