On February 15, 2024, EPA issued a Clean Water Act (CWA) administrative order (Order) to Dartmouth Printing Company in Hanover, New Hampshire for failure to submit discharge monitoring reports (DMRs) pursuant to their CWA National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. Dartmouth Printing Company is authorized to discharge under the Multi Sector General Permit. The permittee is required to submit all outstanding DMRs and continue to report as required by their permit. EPA is responsible for implementing the CWA in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, but the Region did notify the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services of this action.
