On April 30, 2024, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Choruby Construction LLC located in Tigard, Oregon, for violations of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. EPA Region 10 alleged Choruby Construction LLC failed to become RRP firm certified prior to performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property, as required by the RRP Rule. According to the EJ Screen, the target housing being renovated occurred in an area of potential EJ concern for indexes in the State Percentile. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $200.
