On 3/5/24, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act to Magic Renovations and Repair, located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The CAFO was issued in response to violations of the Lead Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule located at 40 C.F.R. Section 745. The CAFO requires Magic Renovations and Repair to return to compliance and pay a penalty of $324.79.
