On July 26, 2024, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving CWA violations at the City of Cascade's wastewater treatment plant located in Cascade, Idaho. Alleged violations included missed monthly routine sampling, late submittal of required reports and notifications to the state, failing to maintain equipment calibration documentation, and failure to remove sufficient amounts of E. coli, solids, and BOD from processed effluent. The Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $7,620 and has returned to compliance.
