On July 30, 2024, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving CWA violations at the Emida Water and Sewer Association, Inc's wastewater treatment plant located in Emida, Idaho. Alleged violations included missed monthly routine sampling, late submittal of required reports and notifications to the state, and failure to remove sufficient amounts of E. coli, solids, chlorine, and BOD from processed effluent. The Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $1,025 and has returned to compliance.
