On April 1, 2024, EPA filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement and accompanying Final Order with AIONX Antimicrobial Technologies, Inc. for violation of Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) requirements. AIONX Antimicrobial Technologies, Inc. failed to submit their Annual Pesticide Production report for 2022 by the annual March 1st due date for their pesticide-production facility, AIONX Executive Offices, located in Hershey, PA. When their report was submitted, AIONX Antimicrobial Technologies, Inc. reported zero-production. AIONX Antimicrobial Technologies, Inc. agreed to inactivate their establishment registration and, as a result, will not be assessed a monetary penalty. This also means that they can no longer produce pesticides at this location. EPA-registered pesticide-producing establishments are required to submit their production reports annually to the Agency, listing the names and types of pesticides they produce, the amounts produced and distributed in the previous year, and the amount they expect to produce in the coming year. AIONX Antimicrobial Technologies, Inc. is not located in an area of EJ concern.
