On July 30, 2024, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving CWA violations at the City of Pierce's wastewater treatment plant located in Pierce, Idaho. Alleged violations included missed monthly routine sampling, failure to submit or late submittal of required reports and notifications to the state, and failure to remove sufficient amounts of solids from processed effluent. The Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $1,656 and has returned to compliance.
