On 4/11/24, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) to El Mercadito Carniceria LLC (Respondent) of Arlington, TX for an alleged violation of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). In the CAFO, the EPA alleges that the respondent distributed or sold unregistered pesticides, which is a violation of Section 12(a)(1)(A) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(1)(A). The respondent has agreed to pay a civil penalty of $1,226 within 30 days of receiving notice of the effective date of the CAFO.
