On April 15, 2024, EPA Region 6 entered into a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) with Hiep Thai Arlington located in Arlington, Texas. The CAFO was entered into in response to the alleged distribution or sale of unregistered pesticides, which is a violation of Section 12(a)(1)(A) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136j(a)(1)(A). The CAFO requires that Hiep Thai Arlington return to compliance and pay a penalty of $5,800 within 30 days of the effective date of the CAFO.
