On July 18, 2024, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving CWA violations at the City of Idaho Falls' wastewater treatment plant located in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Alleged violations included missed monthly routine sampling, late submittal of required notifications to the state, and effluent exceedances of nitrogen. The Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $4,500 and has returned to compliance.
