On June 4, 2024, Region 10 executed an Administrative Order on Consent with the Nooksack Indian Tribe for violations of the SDWA at Nooksack River Casino, a non-transient, non-community water system owned and operated by the Nooksack Tribe located within the boundaries of the Nooksack Indian Reservation, in Deming, Washington. The water system serves approximately 300 customers. The Order establishes a schedule to correct violations of the National Primary Drinking Water Rule including correction of identified significant deficiencies, monitoring and reporting requirements, and providing required public notice.
