EnerSys Energy Products, Inc. and US EPA Region 7 agreed to settle claims that the company failed to include in
semi-annual monitoring system performance reports the dates and times when the pressure drop was observed to be outside of the normal operational ranges for the baghouses and the corrective actions taken or preventative measures adopted at 3 facilities located in Missouri for $430,500. The company has upgraded its? environmental program by installing a new electronic monitoring system to track specific environmental obligations. The system will create automated work orders for monitored equipment, link control equipment monitor values to specific corrective action work orders and alert facility personnel of excursions from monitored normal operating ranges.
