On May 9, 2024, Region 8 issued an Administrative Order (Order) under section 1414 of the SDWA to Rivermeadows Homeowners Association Inc. based on a determination that the Rivermeadows Water District Public Water System (System) of Teton County, Wyoming violated EPA?s National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. The Order addressed several alleged violations identified from December 2018 to present. Violations include several items regarding a copper action level exceedance (ALE). These violations included: failure to provide a source water treatment recommendation, failure to provide a corrosion control treatment plan, failure to implement l an optimal corrosion control treatment plan (OCCT), and failure perform water quality parameter (WQP) monitoring at the entry point to the distribution system and at taps in the distribution system within the required deadlines. Additional violations include failure to certify the 2017 Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) and failure to correct significant deficiencies identified in a 2020 sanitary survey within the required deadlines.
