On 6/11/2024, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 301 of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. 1311, to the City of Robinson (Respondent) located near (and served WW treatment services by) Waco, Texas. The AO was issued in response to unauthorized or unpermitted discharge (or sanitary sewer overflow (SSO)) violations. The AO requires Respondent to 1) submit a list of specific actions taken to correct the violations and 2) submit written certification to EPA that the violations have been corrected and the Respondent is in compliance. Respondent must respond to EPA within thirty days of the effective date of the AO.
