On July 21, 2024, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving a violation of CAA 112r related to the Kymene production facility in Portland, Oregon. Solenis LLC failed to submit a correction to the emergency contact information within one month of any change to the information. It is important that emergency contact information reflects delegation of responsibility in case of an emergency. The facility is not considered EJ. It was above the 80th percentile during the time of inspection. Under the terms of the agreement, the facility paid a penalty of $1,000.
