On July 30, 2024, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Highline Construction LLC located in Bellingham, Washington, for violations of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. EPA Region 10 alleged Highline Construction LLC failed to retain and, if requested, make available to EPA all records when performing renovation work on pre-1978 residential properties as required by the RRP Rule. According to EJScreen, the renovation did not occur in an area of potential EJ concern. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $1,000.
