On July 1, 2023, there was an incident at the Facility that resulted in an accidental release of 1,600 pounds of anhydrous ammonia and an exposure to three employees. the EPA requested documentation on February 14, 2024, and Respondent provided on March 5, 2024, information concerning the Incident and Respondent?s compliance with Section 112(r) of the CAA 42 U.S.C. ? 7412(r), and 40 C.F.R. Part 68. Upon review the EPA found one violation with respect to operating procedures.
