A Final Order was issued to resolve TSCA RRP violations with CertaPro Painters of Southern Montana. CertaPro agreed to a $20,500 penalty for violations as the result of a June 2023
tip and complaint and subsequent Information Request Letter. CertaPro failed to obtain initial certification from the EPA prior to performing renovations on target housing, failed to
retain all documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance with lead-safe work practices for renovations, and failed to obtain written acknowledgement of receipt of the
Renovate Right pamphlet prior to renovations. CertaPro Painters of Southern Montana has since obtained lead-safe firm certification.
